Pittsford Musicals Inc. is a non-profit corporation since 1968 that remains dedicated to the purpose of awarding scholarships to area high school seniors wishing to pursue collegiate studies in performing or fine arts.

Since its inception, Pittsford Musicals is proud to have awarded over $247,900 in scholarships to area high school seniors. We currently offer two types of awards, the Pittsford Musicals Merit Scholarship and the Pittsford Musicals Service Scholarship.

This scholarship is open to candidates from eligible area high schools (Pittsford Sutherland, Pittsford Mendon, Brighton, East Rochester, Fairport, Honeoye Fall-Lima, Penfield, Rush-Henrietta, Rochester School of the Arts, Victor) who are graduating seniors and who have displayed excellence in the performing arts of drama, dance, vocal and or instrumental music, and/or the technical theatre disciplines (such as stage management, set, lighting, costume or sound design). The candidates must be planning to pursue studies in the performing or fine arts following graduation. 

Although applications are available on this website, students must apply for this Merit Scholarship through their school’s guidance office. Please see school counselors and/or performing arts department for details on the application process.

This scholarship is open to any graduating senior who has volunteered their time to Pittsford Musicals and is planning to pursue studies in the performing or fine arts following graduation. These students should apply directly to Pittsford Musicals using the Service Scholarship Application below.
