Jason Anglum
Jason Anglum joined Pittsford Musicals in 2025 as part of the cast of Seussical. His love for theater first took root in high school drama club and then blossomed at Binghamton University, where student-run theater nurtured his passion and confidence as a performer. Now, having found Pittsford Musicals, Jason is excited to continue growing and to help cultivate the same creativity, connection, and joy that shaped his own journey.
Outside of the theater, Jason is the Operations Manager at Sagamore Institute of the Adirondacks, a historical and educational nonprofit organization. There, he oversees guest services and manages numerous software platforms. His work at Sagamore Institute of the Adirondacks is what sparked Jason’s interest in nonprofit leadership, inspiring him to seek out a role on the Pittsford Musicals Board of Directors.
As a fresh, enthusiastic member of the Pittsford Musicals community, with the skills, passion, and determination to contribute however he can, Jason is ready to dive in and would be honored to serve on the Board.
George Barberi
With over 15 years of active involvement in Pittsford Musicals, George Barberi is honored to submit his candidacy for the board of directors. His extensive background spans directing and performing in a wide range of productions, complemented by prior service on other community theater boards. Notably, his direction of Beauty and the Beast for Pittsford Musicals in 2023 helped reintroduce the organization post-pandemic, offering high-quality, family-centered theatre that strengthened community engagement. As a school leader, he brings strengths in collaboration, communication, strategic planning, systems and process analysis, resource allocation, and creative problem solving-skills that directly support the operational and creative demands of community theater leadership. His work is driven by a passion for inclusivity, innovation, and building strong artistic communities, and he is eager to contribute these values to PM’s ongoing efforts.
Mitchell Canfield
Mitchell Canfield has served as Artistic Director for Pittsford Musicals for the past two seasons, directing Legally Blonde and Seussical the Musical. With a background in performance, directing, and choreography, Mitchell toured nationally with 42nd Street and has performed at regional theatres across the country, including Geva Theatre Center, Highlands Playhouse, and Mill Mountain Theatre. Locally, he recently appeared in Sweeney Todd at Blackfriars Theatre and Gypsy at OFC Creations alongside Jodi Benson. As a director and educator, Mitchell has led theatre programs for the National Student Leadership Conference at Yale and Fordham Universities, directed the first professional production of Darling by Ryan Scott Oliver, and staged numerous productions across Boston and New York. Outside of the arts, he works for a Spain-based software company and teaches at Spins Dance Studio. Mitchell is passionate about fostering creativity, collaboration, and community engagement through musical theatre, and he is excited about the opportunity to contribute to Pittsford Musicals in a deeper capacity as a board member.

Puma mistoffelees
There's no such cat in the metropolis
He holds all the patent monopolies
For performing surprising illusions
And creating eccentric confusions
The greatest magicians have something to learn
From Mr Mistoffelees' Conjuring Turn!
And we all say
"Oh! Well, I never!
Was there ever a cat so clever as
Magical Mr Mistoffelees?"
